Bordentown City Farmers Market
Today was finally the day! The Farmers Market made its annual debut here in Bordentown City. When I left work, I was a little sad because it was raining. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that the opening was happening as scheduled today after all!
I came home, talked to some friends on FB, and headed up to the market with a raincovered stroller with a Patrick inside!
A few months ago, I made this farmer's market bag from the pattern in Sew Liberated. It's been sitting around waiting on me to use it. I couldn't wait to actually get to try it out. It was an easy pattern to follow. I had picked up some of this cute carrot fabric on etsy and thought it would be PERFECT to line the bag with! The bag worked out better than I'd even imagined when I could fit a fresh baguette through one of the side pulls! See how nicely this works?
While we were there, we got a glance at some alpacas and picked up some rovings!
We also met up with our friend Deirdre and talked about making an upcoming crafty/knitting night here in Bordentown City..so if you are local, and interested, let me know!
We certainly didn't let the rain bring us down today! I can't wait until next week!
