The Lucky Train Pants

Who doesn't need another pair of pajama pants?  When I saw this train fabric on clearance, I knew I had to pick up enough to make Patrick a pair of summer PJ pants.  I've been trying to find time to craft during nap time - when they coincide, which isn't that often.

These were a quick stitch, but they certainly paid off, especially considering the long lost Mavis and Annie trains showed up just today while he was wearing them!  Perhaps they are good luck!

love them! did you use any directions for these? I was thinking of making Levi some pj pants, but I'm looking for a super easy tutorial! (i'm definitely not as skilled in the sewing department as you are!!) Hope you are well. :)

I didn't have a pattern! I used a pair of his pants that I made years ago, and just widened/lengthened them! They worked out!

However, I CAN highly recommend Anna Marie Horner's Quick Change Trousers, because they are EASY to make, reversible, and you don't need a serger at all since everything is hidden! Maura has at least 4 pairs of them! You could make them out of voile and they'd be so nice for summer! Then make them out of flannel for winter!!
